Social Planner

What it is

Social Planner is your single place to plan, create, customise, schedule and publish social posts across your brand’s channels. It supports Facebook Pages and Groups, Instagram Business and Creator (including Stories, Reels and direct Instagram connection), Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. You manage everything from one calendar on desktop or via the mobile app.

How it works day to day

Draft your post once, tailor the caption and media per network, and schedule for the exact date and time you want. You can run one-off posts, set true recurring posts for evergreen campaigns, and even generate posts automatically from an RSS feed; note that RSS autoposting excludes X/Twitter due to API limits. An approvals flow lets a reviewer sign off content before it goes live. After publishing, you track performance and see what’s working in a central view, with some analytics varying by platform.

Instagram, Stories and Reels

Connect Instagram directly without needing a Facebook Page, or use the classic Facebook-linked method if preferred. You can compose and schedule Stories inside Social Planner, alongside Posts and Reels.

Facebook Pages and Groups

Pages connect in Social Planner settings. For Groups, add the “LeadConnector” app inside the Group, then authorise the connection in Social Planner.

Google Business Profile

Authorise your GBP location once and publish updates from the same calendar. If you’ve already linked GBP in Listings, that authorisation also covers Social Planner.

Content formats and compliance

The planner enforces each platform’s rules and specs (for example YouTube Shorts length, LinkedIn PDF carousels, Instagram media requirements), helping ensure posts publish successfully.

Mobile app

Create, edit, schedule and manage social posts on iOS and Android, with monthly, weekly and list views of your calendar and the ability to connect accounts in-app.

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the correct permissions on each network before connecting: Facebook Page admin and, for Groups, permission to add the LeadConnector app; Instagram Business or Creator account with either direct Instagram access or a linked Facebook Page if you prefer that route; Google account with Owner or Manager access to your GBP location; LinkedIn profile with admin rights for any company page you’ll publish to; TikTok and YouTube logins for their respective channels. Connect each account once inside Social Planner settings, then compose your first post or import from RSS.

Notes for South African brands

GBP posts help with local discovery alongside Facebook and Instagram. If your team works on the move, the mobile app keeps scheduling and approvals on track without sitting at a desk.
